Why Resolution Expo 2010?
Nearly half of all Americans will make New Year’s resolutions, but a third will give up on them within a month. They want to stick to their resolve to change. But they don’t know how. They need a plan. Or they need more motivation.
MakeItMe.net – the Resolution-EXPO organizer - is all about motivation. Our main mission is to motivate people to add physical activity to their daily lives. Our second mission is to actively promote local businesses.
The Resolution-EXPO lets us do both in a highly visible and effective way. We invite several thousand attendees – our members (employed, active and motivated people) and people on the distribution lists of our sponsors, exhibitors and workshop leaders. We also advertise to that segment of the public that seriously plans to make significant changes in their lives during the coming year.

Exposure
The EXPO’s Program will list all Exhibitors, who will be arranged around the circumference of the room – similar to a Monopoly game board. Attendees will earn extra door prize tickets by having exhibitors sign off or stamp their program. Only a portion of exhibitors need to stamp – so only interested people will visit your table.
Resolution-EXPO.com will list, link, and feature logos for Exhibitors and workshops until and past the Expo’s date.
pr-IMPACT, our public relations firm, will send advance press releases and then will step up our media contacts in January.
Mears: Consulting will target our marketing through social media, specifically Facebook and appropriate tweets.
Email Newsletters go to active fitness challenge participants (1,500) of MakeItMe.net. And the Expo will be promoted on the MakeItMe.net Web site, which averages 400 hits per hour during a challenge, 3.6 million hits to date in 2009.
Exhibitor Space
Includes one 6’ x 30” table, 2 chairs, approximately 7’ x 7’ of space, and a boxed lunch. Wi-Fi and electricity are available for small fees. Preferred spaces are reserved for sponsorship levels, but there are no “bad” locations. No dead ends or blind corners.
Classrooms are available to spread your message. Each classroom seats 30. On-site registration is available and provides preferred admittance. Seats will be filled in advance of start time by open admittance.
Door Prizes Non-perishable food will be collected for local Colorado needy. Each attendee who brings 2 or more containers of food (no glass) will receive an extra door prize ticket.
Goody Bags – Each EXPO attendee will receive a goody bag at check-in. Double your exposure with an insert in the goody bag and by hosting a table.
The Resolution EXPO is also the Kickoff Event for 3 Fitness Challenges:
- Chamber Challenge (West Chamber of Commerce),
- Battle of the Bookworms (library districts), and
- Healthy Habits (Open to all Greater Denver)
